Three Easy Ways to Reduce Your Toxic Load
Are you managing to reduce the presence of toxins in your home and your life? Even when we do everything we can to use natural products at home for our families, toxins can still make their way into our lives.
Here are three more helpful ways to limit the amount of toxins coming into your home:
1. Put receipts in your wallet.👛
Did you know that most receipts you get from grocery stores, restaurants, and convenience stores are coated with chemicals? Opt out of receipts or simply put them in your wallet rather than in the bag with your food.
2. Use reusable grocery bags.🛒
Not only are reusable bags better for the environment, but chemicals can also leach out of plastics. Do you have a hard time remembering to take bags when you go to the store? After unloading your groceries, immediately take the bags back out to your car to use next time.
3. Keep your shoes at the door.👡
Shoes are exposed to hundreds of things each day as you travel. Taking your shoes off at the door—and declaring your home shoe free—is a great way to reduce dirt and other unpleasantries being tracked into your home each day.
